Marble keeper

A great place to keep your marbles safe!!! I LOVE creating my own marbles for decorative options to pots/mirrors and statuary! Find your favorite clipping (romantic, retro, victorian, fav print of a master painting, family copied photo) and seal it with a lovely clear large half-flat marble to accentuate and enlarge the image....what a great idea when you are running low on materials, or to add some lovely imagery/color!!! Ciao! Happy Designing :)

Transitions!!!

Here is the transition from white lovely kitchen...in need of some color!! The middle photo is the mid-project of the mosaic wall, with the finished product seen in the following post of Love Life Live! Also, here you can see the checkered color tile pop that separates the kitchen garden windows :)

Love Life Live...New life to a kitchen wall :)

Hey...lookie-here! We purchased out little mountain home and quickly needed to add some serious personal touches with.....you guessed it; mosaic tiles!!! I LOVE The Tree of Life and decided to add some Stellar Blue Jays, pine cones and make our Tree of Life an Apple Tree, because they are on our property. This creation was done with recycled 3/4 inch x 3/4 inch glass tiles...I must point you yet again in the direction of Modwalls.com for some amazing supplies!!! The grout is a pewter sanded grout. The base material is standard hardibacker attached to the kitchen wall with sheet rock screws for support (be careful to not tighten them to tight as this can warp the hardibacker a little!)....Anyway, I love it. I also added a strip of color between the kitchen garden windows for some added "POP!"...Love, Love, Love!!! Happy designing all!
