Pots-a-plenty

Here are three more pots that were recently designed....I love to use as much of a product with as little discard as possible. Cups are great for hanging off the side of a pot and stuffed with succulents! A great tip so you don't need to worry about the cup falling off, is to use a hot glue gun to adhere to the pot. I use this method for alot of items that may be a bit too heavy (secretly I use to tape the cup to the pot and half the time I would return in the morning to find that it slid down the side of the pot and was half dangling off still attached to the tape)...use the glue gun, it is your friend. The large red and lime pot is designed with Lovely Brio tiles from Modwalls in Scotts Valley, vintage pottery, roosters, marbles...the Aqua, creme, green and chocolate pot has some fancy subway tiles from Modwalls, ceramic plates, marbles, roosters (I like roosters, have you noticed?). The chubby low cobalt pot is designed with fun penny rounds along the rim, sunflowers, a chunky handle and handmade marbles. Grout used on all three are either pewter gray or antique white....creating fun before springtime !

Mirror mirror on the wall........

Well, actually in the garden. These two mirrors are picture frames turned-mirrors. Both are absolutely adorable. I love the fire red of the larger frame, with the caramel and black bits throughout. A variety of picture marbles with old vintage prints and a whimsical half-cup add to the loveliness that brought this together. The sage and pink square mirror is chalk-full of fun finds. From "love" and "amour" throughout the mirror, to the large ceramic roses, handmade marbles and so many different beautiful brio glass choices and vintage ceramic tile really rounded/squared--off this mirror...super lovely. Creme grout for the sage/pink mirror and pewter for the fire-red mirror.

Beauty comes in all sizes

Here are two statues designed in basic black and creme. Momma and baby have vintage black pottery and Brio glass, vintage Toille for Momma cat's chest and side, bright white Brio for baby kitteh's little chest. Handmade print clip of black and white cat marble on kitteh's hip. Look into their mesmerizing stares; I think they want a treat! Both grouted in Pewter gray. Ready for the outdoors for a stoop, under a garden bush or to greet your visitors on the front porch!

Bah-bah Shy Little Chubby Sheep

I absolutely LOVE how this little chubby sheep turned out. She is designed with, yes Brio glass, vintage pottery, handmade picture marbles, china and tons of love and creativity. You can pretty much mosaic anything that stands still long enough and this little darling did. She is a ceramic statue and made for quick grout drying, a big plus! Scout out your local thrift stores for those inspirational old pottery and china pieces and then fill-in with bursts of color from online tile companies like one of my fav's, Modwalls (www.modwalls.com). Grout color is Creme, color palate is cotton candy pink, creme, sage, matte gray, bright white. Enjoy!
